FIN Framework Is BACnet Operator Workstation Certified

J2 Innovations is proud to announce the successful completion of BACnet Operator Workstation (B-OWS) testing. BACnet Certification Testing Labs (BTL) is designed to validate that a product correctly implements a specified set of BACnet features. Upon completion of the testing, companies can display the BTL Mark and are included in BTL listings. We consider it an honor and a huge milestone for FIN Framework to be B-OWS certified. Adhering to BACnet standards is not just a badge to show, it validates that FIN Framework is part of an open, interoperable ecosystem and lowers the cost of system integration.

The Operator Workstation is designed to provide BAS users with all the information and editing ability they need to manage a system. In addition, the workstation can provide alarm and event management, scheduling, trending, and device management.

BTL Certified FIN Framework provides operators with the following capabilities:

Data sharing - Monitoring and control of core properties and their supporting objects
Alarm & Event Management - Display the object and alarm message, plus modification of alarm limits
Scheduling - Display and modification of weekly and exception schedules and support for multiple schedule object types (binary, analog, and multistate)
Trending - Logging a value and timestamp at a standard interval or upon change of value (COV)
Device management - Reading/writing device and object properties, as well as time synchronization
