Getting FINactivated at J2

Summer 2023 just got a little more active for the J2 Innovations team! We're stretching August's National Wellness Month across the whole summer to engage employees in some healthy competition: Be ( F)IN,  to win! 
 
National Wellness Month is a nationally recognized month dedicated to self-care, creating healthy routines, and stress management. Wellness doesn't mean strict diets and rigorous exercise routines; it means dedicating time for small acts of self-care, listening to your body, and moving in whatever ways feel good to you. 
 
J2 Innovations encourages healthy lifestyle choices because we know that healthy employees are less stressed, happier, and have more energy. Regular  physical activity has been proven to enhance overall well-being and improve physical and mental health. By promoting an active lifestyle, companies can reduce absenteeism and presenteeism, as employees who engage in regular exercise tend to have stronger immune systems, lower stress levels, and increased productivity. An active lifestyle also fosters camaraderie and teamwork, as participation in group fitness activities or sports can create bonds among colleagues, promoting a positive work environment.
 
At J2, we care about the well-being of our team beyond work-related responsibilities. By providing wellness support programs and organizing company-wide fitness challenges, businesses can boost morale, enhance job satisfaction, and attract and retain top talent, all while reaping the long-term benefits of a healthier and more engaged workforce.
 
We have three challenges to encourage employees to embrace the spirit of wellness. We created a Strava Club, FINactivated, for us to come together as a team, inspire each other, and achieve new personal milestones. Our Most Active Person challenge is for the overachiever who has big goals and would love a team of supporters to rally behind. Our Most Challenging Challenge is for our creative conquered to dream big and challenge themselves. Finally, our Longest Activity Reported is all about endurance and stamina.
 
We have team members who run marathons, go on epic adventures, and do triathlons, so we are excited to see photos, hear stories, and track everyone's progress. We can't wait to see how our team inspires and encourages each other while challenging themselves to stay active and lead a healthy lifestyle.
