FIN Stack - Summer Road Show (US) 2023

The J2 Innovations team has a new training experience they are taking on the road in partnership with authorized FIN Stack Distributors. The FIN Stack Road Show consists of an introduction to J2 Innovations, the chance to Take FIN for a Spin, and an optional FIN Technicians Training with Certification.

Coming to a city near you, here's what to expect.

Getting to know J2 Innovations & FIN

On Day 1, Jeremy Wolfe will provide a presentation on J2 Innovations' past, present, and future. He will highlight some recent changes and our focus on FIN Stack resellers. Our host Distributor will provide lunch, providing an excellent opportunity to connect with peers. In the afternoon, Scott Muench will take you on a hands-on tour of FIN (called Take FIN for a Spin). This is a free demo copy of the FIN Stack software that you can download on your laptop and follow. 

This day is for you if you are in a sales or business owner role. If you are a technician or application engineer, get certified training for free by staying for Days 2 and 3 (please note, you must attend day 1 to be able to go through the training). 

FIN Technicians Training

On Days 2 and 3, the session continues with Gerard Huff providing free technical training (typically valued at over $2,000). Participants will learn how to build a complete project using FIN Stack. Lessons will include project database, data integration, creating graphics, logic, and much more. This more detailed and hands-on training builds on what was covered in the FIN for a Spin session on Day 1, and is part of our official Technicians Class in J2 Innovations' FINstitute. Current resellers will have the opportunity to continue their studies in the online course and participate in the Practical Applications Lab for certification.

For prospective resellers, this is an opportunity to learn more and take the next steps in becoming an authorized FIN Stack reseller.

Meet the team

Jeremy Wolfe is J2 Innovations' VP of Sales Americas. 

Scott Muench is known as an industry expert in smart homes, smart buildings, and smart device management and has been an active spokesman for the Project Haystack community. Scott started his career as a System Integrator and Technical Trainer, spent 10 years in the Smart Buildings industry, and then went on to co-found J2 Innovations.

Gerard Huff is J2 Innovations' Director of Training. He has over 30 years of experience in classroom instruction. Gerard designed our Train-the-Trainer program that includes trainers with many Resellers/OEMs in the BAS market space. He has taught all over the world, including China, Japan, Dubai, London, Singapore, India, Canada, Australia, and all across the U.S.
