Meet the Growing Team: David Packer

It’s time we introduce you to a very important new member of the J2 Innovations team: our CFO, David Packer. David has called California his home for 20 years, but talking to him you’d know right away he’s originally from New York.

David has extensive experience in finance and has spent a lot of time working with High Tech companies in Silicon Valley in a number of roles. His last big role was with software company Cisco, a role that David says “played nicely into this opportunity with J2 Innovations.”

David has worked in a variety of companies ranging from large, corporate environments to emerging startups, which makes him uniquely qualified for the opportunity to help grow J2 Innovations with the support of Siemens.

“I was very happy when this opportunity was presented to me. Years ago I worked for a software startup and I really enjoyed that experience. There are a lot of really talented people here. We have a real chance to grow and make a difference.”

David has big to-do list to tackle. He’s working on implementing processes that will help us achieve our goals without losing the entrepreneurial spirit that has driven J2’s success in the past.

Along with managing the financial health of the company, David also manages our relationship with Siemens. His job is to ensure we maintain financial, legal, and compliance workflows to provide a healthy company environment.

When he’s not steering our financial ship, David is spending time with family. This family man is married with two children and is quite embedded in their extracurricular activities. His weekends are spent at Lacross and flag football games.
