Controlco Distributor Highlight

“Our history in the industry gives us a unique perspective on the changes that are coming to buildings through the Internet of Things,” says Controlco President Chip Cummins. “We’re still selling controllers for legacy systems but we’re most excited about the new integration and operational networking technologies, like FINStack, that are really moving our industry forward.” Controlco headquarters are in Pleasant Hill, just east of California’s Bay Area, with field offices up and down the state. The distribution company also has an office in Franklin, Tennessee where they’re growing accounts throughout the Southeast.

Their website also serves as an excellent web store, and we’re told they’re in the middle of a big redesign that will make it easier to browse, purchase, and learn about the controllers and technologies they distribute. Be sure to browse the FIN Stack section while you’re there!

Recently, the Controlco sales team took FIN for a Spin in Pleasant Hill. Since then, we’ve been working together to introduce Controlco customers to our integration platform. This week, they are hosting two Take FIN for a Spin classes on November 16 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the 17th in Nashville, Tennessee. “We think FIN 4.0 offers a lot of opportunity to our contractor and integrator customers,” Controlco’s Cummins says. “The free training program helps us present that value in a way that encourages questions and real-life simulations. We’re hoping to keep hosting more around the country.”
