# Siemens Makes the TIME World's Best Companies of 2024 List

TIME recently released its list, ranking "1,000 companies changing the world" and we are excited to share that [Siemens got #9 on the list](https://time.com/collection/worlds-best-companies-2024/)! The ranking is based on a formula of employee-satisfaction surveys, revenue growth and environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) data.

J2 Innovations is proud to be part of Siemens’ group of companies and their culture of prioritizing employee satisfaction and sustainability. [Siemens acquired J2 Innovations](https://www.j2inn.com/blog/siemens-invests-in-j2-innovations-future) back in 2018 and agreed to keep J2 Innovations an independent company with its own business goals and objectives.

## B. Scott Muench

Scott joined J2 Innovations as a partner in 2011 and is now Vice President of Knowledge Excellence. He has a wide range of responsibilities, including evangelism, business development and training. Scott is well known as an industry expert in smart homes and smart buildings. He is a past president of ASHRAE, and is currently a board member for Project Haystack. Scott attended Clarkson University for Mechanical Engineering and graduated with a BS/Business in Organizational Innovation.
