At IBS Paris this year, J2 Innovations and its core partners came together to demonstrate how collaboration powers smarter buildings and drives innovation across borders. The event was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when industry leaders unite under a shared vision and how collaboration can drive stronger business opportunities across borders. 

Together with our partners such as Coster Group, Innon Energy, FläktGroup, and Redge (formerly Lennox), J2 Innovations showcased how the powered by FIN Framework ecosystem is accelerating digital transformation in building automation. The results spoke for themselves: packed demos, new partnerships, and a shared sense of momentum around the future of intelligent buildings.

A shared vision for smart, connected buildings

The strength of the 'Powered by FIN Framework' ecosystem lies in its collaborative model. OEMs can build their own solutions on the powerful FIN Framework from J2 Innovations to deliver smarter, more flexible, and more sustainable building solutions faster. The opportunity, like the exhibition in Paris, gave us a platform to showcase what our partners have created. 

“Speaking with other experts always sparks new ideas—and sometimes even new collaborations across countries,” said Fabio Lamberti, Sales Export Manager at Coster Group.

For Coster, an established Italian manufacturer with more than 60 years of experience and over 150,000 installations, IBS Paris marked their first appearance in the French market. Their latest EHC Edge Controller and WebGarage BMS platform, which is powered by FIN Framework, attracted strong interest for its simplicity, scalability, and performance.

Fabio noted that the French market shares many of the same needs as Italy, especially among facility management companies seeking to simplify commissioning and maintenance:

“Our software tools have simplified the job for technicians in Italy, and the same value can now be delivered in France. Visitors really appreciated this.”

Their success story was just one of many at IBS Paris, where each partner brought unique strengths to the table.

From products to partnerships

For Innon Energy, the Paris event was most importantly about understanding the market needs and building relationships. As Radu Petrescu and Turchian Omer, Innon Co-Founders explained, the experience was transformative:

“It felt good being with you. The reason is the way we collaborate—it’s very natural. We are growing organically, like a bamboo tree,” said Radu, reflecting on Innon’s participation at IBS in France.

Instead of traditional sales transactions, Innon discovered a market eager for co-development and partnerships:

“People here are looking for collaboration. That was a shock at first—but a great one. We planted the seed in our minds of what’s possible, and some of those seeds will grow very tall,” Radu added.

Turchian shared a similar sentiment about the synergy among other OEM partners present at the J2 Innovations booth.

Building momentum beyond exhibition halls

The collaborative energy from IBS didn’t end in Paris. J2 Innovations continues its ecosystem journey alongside OEM partners on road shows and at other events. The FläktGroup On Wheels Truck Tour has been all over Europe so far, with different J2 team members joining in at various stops.

Also, the Redge truck tour in France is showcasing their next level HVAC solutions, including powered by FIN Framework e-savvy, intelligent software to control, for example, rooftop solutions. 

We love these innovative ways of bringing solutions directly to customers. These traveling showcases demonstrate how local engagement, hands-on demos, and technical storytelling can accelerate adoption and trust among customers and prospects.
