## Haystack Connect (Virtual) - September 13-15

Haystack Connect is where technologists and executives from smart buildings, smart cities, and the IoT talk about the value of data for increased asset and energy efficiency. Together, attendees will elaborate on the challenges of seamless data access and interoperability and how [Project Haystack](https://project-haystack.org/) standard provides a solution. Haystack Connect 2022 is virtual, being held in September. ## Light + Building, Frankfurt - October 2 - 6

We'll be supporting the Siemens team on their stand at Light + Building, Messe Frankfurt in Hall 11, Booth B56.

The focus of this event is on intelligent and connected solutions, forward-looking technologies and current design trends. For the first time, the international meeting place also brings all participants together digitally.

## Chillventa, Frankfurt - October 11 - 13

Chillventa facilitates direct interaction with a wide range of experts and highly qualified suppliers from around the world. The trade forums and the Chillventa CONGRESS bring international specialists together to talk about the latest developments and future trends in the areas of refrigeration, AC & ventilation, and heat pumps.

## Smart Building Show, London - October 12 - 13

The Smart Buildings Show 2022 will be taking place at ExCeL, London Find J2 Innovations on stand A43 demonstrating the open FIN Framework software for OEMs and well FIN offering for system integrators.

Our VP of Sales, Chris Irwin, will be delivering a talk in the Controls Theatre on 12 October at 14:30

## Eurovent Summit, Turkey - October 25 - 28

Each second year, the [Eurovent Association](https://eurovent.eu/), [Eurovent Certita Certification (ECC)](http://www.eurovent-certification.com/) and [Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI)](https://www.eurovent-marketintelligence.eu/) welcome the Indoor Climate, Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain industry from Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and beyond to their **EUROVENT **SUMMIT. This year's summit will be held in Turkey, 25-28 October, with the theme #BuildingBridges.

J2 is a 'Bridge Building' sponsor and will be delivering information on how optimizing and managing HVAC can help manufacturers deliver sustainability goals. Our CEO, Alex Rohweder, will be one of the keynote speakers at the Summit’s flagship event Eurovent Innovation/HUB, focused on building bridges between innovation and sustainability. Alex’s contribution, titled ‘Dear building, let me introduce you to building management’, will focus on extending and intensifying the role of HVAC manufacturers in a landscape of unmanaged commercial buildings

## B. Scott Muench

Scott joined J2 Innovations as a partner in 2011 and is now Vice President of Knowledge Excellence. He has a wide range of responsibilities, including evangelism, business development and training. Scott is well known as an industry expert in smart homes and smart buildings. He is a past president of ASHRAE, and is currently a board member for Project Haystack. Scott attended Clarkson University for Mechanical Engineering and graduated with a BS/Business in Organizational Innovation.
