J2 Innovations Returns to Its Roots at AHR Expo 2026 in Las Vegas

J2 Innovations, a Siemens company and global leader in building automation software, is proud to announce its participation in the AHR Expo 2026, taking place in Las Vegas—the city where the J2 story began.

Co-founded in 2009 by Scott Muench and a team of innovators, J2 Innovations was born out of a vision to revolutionize Building Automation Systems (BAS). That vision first sparked during landmark projects on the Las Vegas Strip, including MGM Properties and the City Center development—the largest construction project in U.S. history at the time. These projects revealed the limitations of existing BAS tools and inspired the creation of a better, smarter framework for engineering, commissioning, and visualizing building systems.

From its humble beginnings with tools like FIN Builder and FIN Mobile, J2 Innovations has grown into a global powerhouse, delivering the FIN Framework—a next-generation software platform that simplifies smart building and IoT solutions. In 2018, Siemens, a customer of J2 Innovations at that time, acquired the company, enabling J2 Innovations to scale FIN Framework globally while retaining its innovative spirit.
