J2 Innovations' 2024 Highlights and Milestones

As 2024 draws to a close, we're looking back to reflect on the achievements and experiences that have defined this year for us. The year has been filled with numerous highlights and successes, each contributing to our growth and progress. To capture the essence of these accomplishments, we reached out to our team members, inviting them to share the moments and milestones they are most proud of. Their insights and reflections provide a wonderful picture of the year's journey, showcasing the dedication and innovation that have propelled us forward.

Global partnership announcements

This year was an exciting year for new partnerships across the globe! Hailin Controls, EllisDon, Fläkt Group, Wise Building, Andal Building Technologies, Orange Business, Panasonic, and Satel Iberia all joined as a J2 partner with exciting new product offerings powered by FIN Framework. 

Product and partner engagement

We had lots of great partner engagement this year with so many new innovative OEM products. It was an honor to exhibit alongside some of them at events like Gitex, Chillventa, and China Refrigeration. 

This year, OEM partner Fläkt Group launched a road show, Fläkt on Wheels, a European truck tour showcasing FläktGroup's innovative products. FläktEdge was among the products showcased, which is proudly powered by FIN Framework. The roadshow visited 20 countries, engaging with 1789 attendees over 30 weeks. Our team had a great time joining FläktGroup at a few of the stops.

Another great partner event that really showcased the power of FIN Framework was Satel Iberia's product launch event for SentNet BMS. Satel Iberia is a specialist in developing OEM products for monitoring and remote-control solutions, such as vertical telemetry and datalogger applications. The integration of FIN into the company’s dataloggers to create SenNet BMS allows them to offer advanced control solutions to a range of existing and new markets.

Thanks to our great partnerships and partners, we produced new case studies showcasing FIN Framework solutions in use: 

• Andal Building Technologies showcased their single control system within a hotel complex in Spain.
• FläktGroup's FläktEdge integration at the Trafikverket offices in Luleå, Sweden, showcased the system's ability to overcome ventilation challenges and deliver impressive results.
• The City of Toronto is using FIN Framework to align an array of new and legacy BAS brands across its real estate portfolio to make implementation and management simpler and more efficient.

Events

We had a full calendar of events in 2024! We really focused on putting our customers in the spotlight this year at conferences and in our marketing. At Gitex, we showcased alongside Orange Business and announced a strategic partnership. At Chillventa, we announced a strategic partnership with Panasonic. It was also great to be among so many other OEMs (like Coster Group, Innon Energy, and FläktGroup) showcasing their "Powered by FIN Framework" products at various Smart Building conferences. 

For Xiao Hui Dai, our China General Manager, the highlight of the year was the China Refrigeration conference, where we announced a partnership with Hailin Controls: "China’s leading thermostat manufacturer, Hailin Controls, announced a partnership with J2 Innovations in 2024! China also became the startup country of Desigo Optic Acceleration with Siemens." 

A lot of new companies showed their interest in FIN because of this, which means more great partnerships in 2025!  

New website resources

This year, we launched a new Press Room and Media Center to showcase our latest press releases, social media announcements, podcasts, and other media. The center is also where J2 Innovations partners can download our logos and request our team to speak. 

We also launched our new Help Center, a single point of entry to search across all of the J2 resources (documentation, videos, blog posts, and training) across all resources and platforms. The results can be filtered based on the type of content you're looking for. Additionally, there are categories that take you directly to the sub-systems we've incorporated into our Help Center. 

Training

It was also a great year for training, with great FIN Training sessions across the pond at Siemens UK and a fun FIN Stack Roadshow in the U.S. The team visited Charlotte, North Carolina, Timonium, Maryland, and Toronto, Canada. We also had lots of great virtual FIN Training sessions with System Integrators and FIN users worldwide. Learn more about FIN Training here.
